Hello, my name is Esmeralda Campos and I will be going into my first year at UC Davis. I’m majoring in Molecular and Medical Microbiology with hopes of becoming an anesthesiologist in the future. I am the youngest of three and will be the first of my siblings to attend college. I’ve always had a love for medicine but my passion only grew when I saw the mistreatment of my grandparents from their doctors who ignored their pain and fears during their procedures. My goal is to become a doctor who actively listens to their patients and attempts to make them as comfortable as I possibly can.
