Hello! My name is Karla Rodriguez, and I’m a first-generation college student studying Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at UC Davis. Coming from a Mexican immigrant family, I’ve faced financial and academic challenges, but my passion for helping others has driven me to pursue a career in neurology. After starting my journey at community college, I’m now one step closer to becoming a doctor. I’m deeply involved in my church, where I serve as a youth leader and volunteer at local food fairs.
