Hi! My name is Hugh Nguyen, and I'm currently pursuing a double major in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Psychology with the goal of becoming a Physician Assistant. I’m deeply passionate about healthcare and the science behind medicine, especially how drugs interact with the human body to improve lives.

I currently work in a DNA research lab, where I’m gaining hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques and developing a deeper understanding of genetic processes—skills I hope to carry into future clinical practice. I’m also fascinated by how psychological and physiological health intersect, which is why I chose to pair my chemistry studies with psychology.

Outside of academics, I love staying active by playing tennis and basketball with friends and family. These moments help me recharge and stay balanced during my busy schedule. I also enjoy volunteering and mentoring other students interested in science and healthcare.
