Good afternoon, audience. My name is Ricardo Guerena Meza. I spent a lot of my childhood in Tijuana and San Diego, and since I was a child, I knew that I wanted to become a doctor one day. I am a first-generation student who, despite hardships, is achieving more and more goals, the most recent one being to leave my family and study at one of my dream schools, UC Davis. I genuinely believe in the importance of success, and I thank God for having had good parents who taught me that with the right attitude, motivation, and passion, one can open many doors in life. Despite challenging moments and problems, if you always look for the positive and think, for example, "How can I solve this situation?" or "How can I make it better?" things will improve; you'll see. I always believe every day that we need to enjoy our life no matter what, always be happy and do hobbies, enjoy life, like: swim, run, or even go to the library to study with a coffee and relaxing music, life is not easy, but if you are passionate and have your goals really but really determined to achieve them, life is beautiful.
